2001 release from the Virginian multi-instrumentalist Mark Linkous (Sparklehorse). Also in this album Tom Waits, PJ Harvey, John Parish, Nina Perrson, Dave Fridmann and others. Mark Linkous usually records in a small room on his virginia farm but for this album he made an exeption and worked with other musicians, “I didn't want to play every instrument on every song,” “I didn't want to be behind the control console the whole time. I wanted to have other people's brains and input involved.” sayd Linkous, in an interview with Free Williamsburg Online Magazine. I've heard this a bunch of times, it never gets old.YouTube
